Visiting Hours & Information

Sumner Regional Medical Center, Sumner Station, our hospital outpatient departments, and the HighPoint Health Clinics have dropped universal masking, thanks to decreased transmission levels and severity of COVID-19. However, anyone who feels ill -- whether it be suspected flu, a cold or COVID -- is encouraged to wear a mask while in our facilities.

Visitation has returned to normal. Hours are 8am to 9pm for adults 18 and older. No overnight stays unless cleared with the unit supervisor, and we advise against bringing children to the facility unless absolutely necessary. Some units may have special posted visiting hours or quiet hours when patients should be resting. When visiting a COVID-19-positive patient, guests must wear appropriate personal protective equipment to be provided by the nursing staff.

Hospital Entrance
The main entrance to the hospital is located off of Hartsville Pike and is open from 5 am to 9 pm. For those seeking emergency care, the Emergency Department entrance is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a dedicated ER entrance on the west side of the hospital nearest to the grocery store across the street.

Parking
Free parking is available to patients and visitors of SRMC in the hospital’s parking garage located on the corner of Hartsville Pike and Steam Plant Road. Please park in designated spaces, being mindful of marked physician parking or parking for surgical or wound care patients. Respect handicapped spots. 

Emergency Room parking is available on the west side of the hospital. Use the emergency entrance marked with red lettering off of Main St./Hartsville Pike and proceed to park next to the emergency room entrance. This entrance is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Parking at Sumner Station is free surface street parking. Enter off of Big Station Camp Blvd. 

Wireless Internet Access
As a service to our patients and visitors, SRMC provides free wireless internet access through the hospital. Select “Guest_Access” from the available wireless networks.

自动售货 machines are located in Tower B just outside the courtyard on the first floor and in the main hallway across from the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation waiting area. Snacks are also available in the Simply Sumner Gift Shoppe, generally open on week days during lunch hours.
